Alright, I'm reaching out to all of you, my closest internet friends.
HELP!!!!
It turns out Tyler and I have a limit on good baby names. The limit is 3. Too bad we're expecting #4 in a few short weeks.
We have a list of several names for boys and girls but nothing we're completely sold on yet. Actually, I'm sold on a girls name, but Tyler's not quite there yet.
So, would you help us out? We tend to like names that are a bit "older" (dare I say vintage?). I'm not into trendy or made up names.
The second half of the title of this post is "delurk". So that means if you're reading this, let me know! I'm so curious about who it is that reads this blog. Click on "comment" and leave some of your favorite names. Or if you don't have any name suggestions, just say "Hi!".

Lindsay - I haven't had to "study" baby names for over 4 years - I will have to think on that one.
Jill Hedger (Westfahl)
My perfect combo of names:
Jack
Colby
Bree
And if I have one more, I'd name him Monty, short for Montgomery.
Do you think that would scar my children to be named after cheese?
HI!!! I am a lurker but you knew that! :)
Boy-
Liam
Asher
Girl- I like
Ada
Ruby
or Brea...like their cool aunt! HEE
Here is my two cents!
Boys:
William (a family name that I love)
Schaeffer (thought it fit well with your other boy names!)
Girls:
Evelyn (loving this name and everyone I know who has wanted to use it is having a boy!)
Sonya (had that as a name for awhile, but am using biblical names for our adopted kiddos)
Do we win something if you chose our name? = )
Hey Linds! Names we considered for Jake: Andrew (Drew), Jonathan...I have several friends with sons named Lincoln. I love Claire and Ruby for girls.
I have an ongoing list of names in my phone - but I shan't reveal them until after we're finished having kids. HOWEVER, for a girl, a few of my VERY favorite names are off-limits for us for various reasons. Same for one boys' name.
Josephine (already named our dog this - regrettably b/c I heart this name!), Mary Jane (my grandma's name), Naomi (my other grandma's name), Ruth (James' sister's name), Patrick (my brother's name). And I should mention that I removed Charlotte from my short list a few years ago when a dear old friend named her first daughter Charlotte... :)

Just was reading a bedtime story to Vinny and came accross another name for you. It is in the book Bread and Jam for Frances. Frances has a baby sister named... Gloria. Love it! Thought I would share!
how about
clara caroline sarah clements?
:)
just kidding. I randomly read your blog and thought I should put in my two cents
since I already ordered a green eyed girl i'll only put girl names:
my favorite right now is adelaide and call her addie like your other friend said.
i love the names sarah, ava, and evelyn-- i LOVE that name but everyone i've asked thinks it too old lady-ish. hmmm... i would have to think
just know that all of these names are up for grabs if/when i have kids
:)
Lindsay - I'm sorry I can't give you my ideas on baby names seeing as I am due just a few months after you.... ;) But lately, Amy has been coming up with some dueseys~ Mac-n-cheese, Hamburger, Guacamole, etc. All would sound as good with "Clements" as they do with "Lock", don't you think? ;)
Jill :)
I am reading your blog and I would give you a list of good baby names but because I have yet to have my babies I can't bring myself to give out my names, we can't have 2 of the same name in the family, can we?? Especially since Tyler has been one of my favorite boy names since we babysat the Fee's about 20 years ago and then Calvin was my other boy name, I think we have similar taste! Just letting you know I'm reading, LOVE YOU!!

How did I delete a comment? Wow - guess I don't do this very often. I like:
Noah, Oliver, Hatcher, Jeremiah, Graham, Carter, Jack, Nathan, Ada, Sophia, Jane, Caroline, and my very favorite, shared to prove just how badly I want to be done...Mia (maybe short for Amelia or something else).
Ha! This is way late, since you're inducing in 2 days. But I've always wanted to name my girls Beatrice and Charlotte. And you already have a Charlotte...
And since we live in different states, it's cool.
